Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

EasyRing is designed to work entirely on your device. We do not operate a server or a backend, do not require account registration, and do not collect or transmit your contacts, calls, or voice data anywhere.

The app processes the following data, but only on your device:

• Contact names, photos, and phone numbers — read live from the iOS Contacts app to display and call them; never copied, duplicated, or uploaded.
• Pinned contacts, emergency numbers, categories, and app settings (font size, theme, language) — stored locally in the app.
• Audio captured briefly during a call, only when Live Voice Captions is turned on — transcribed on-device and never saved or sent anywhere.
• Anonymous technical diagnostic data (e.g., crash reports) only if you opt in to share it via the App Store.

2. Device permissions

EasyRing may request the following permissions to work fully:

• Contacts — required to show and call the people in your address book.
• Microphone — required only for the Pro Live Voice Captions feature, to caption the current call.
• Speech Recognition — required only for Live Voice Captions; recognition runs using Apple's on-device Speech framework.
• Notifications — optional, used only for local reminders you configure in the app.

You can review or revoke any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

3. How we use data

Everything EasyRing does — reading your contacts, dialing a number, captioning a call, or reading a message aloud — happens locally on your iPhone. We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral analytics, or model training, and we never sell it to any third party.

4. Third parties, ads & purchases

EasyRing contains no advertisements of any kind — no banner ads, no interstitials, no rewarded ads, and no ad SDKs are included in the app.

EasyRing Pro is a single, one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store — we never receive or store your payment card details, only the purchase status needed to unlock Pro features.

When you place a call or send a message, that action is handled by the iOS system dialer and Messages app, which are governed by Apple's own privacy practices, not ours.

5. Data storage & security

Pinned contacts, emergency numbers, and your app settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS security mechanisms. Nothing is synced to iCloud, a server, or any other device by EasyRing itself. If you delete the app, this local data is permanently erased.

6. Children's privacy

EasyRing is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us so we can address it.

7. Your rights

Because EasyRing does not store your contacts or calls on any server, you have full control over your data: unpin a contact, remove an emergency number, reset app settings, or uninstall the app to remove everything EasyRing has stored.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
